Deadly Smash on M20 Hard Shoulder
Tragedy struck the M20 motorway early Monday morning. At around 8.20am on 17 October 2022, a deadly collision occurred on the coastbound hard shoulder between junctions 1 and 2.
Four Vehicles Involved, Two Women Dead
The crash involved four vehicles: a grey Infiniti Q30 Sport, a black BMW X5, a black VW Golf, and a white Iveco Daily van. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but sadly, two women were pronounced dead. Their families have been informed.
Serious Collision Unit Launches Investigation
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are determined to piece together what happened. They are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.

- Any motorists driving on the M20 between 8.15am and 8.20am in either direction are urged to check their dashcams for footage.
