Sheep Shenanigans in Eastbourne: Cops Round Up Furry Fugitives!
Sussex Police on Wool Watch
Sussex Rural Police in Eastbourne had a bleat to make yesterday after stepping in to round up a flock of runaway sheep. The woolly escapees had broken free from a nearby farmer’s field, causing a minor stir.
Officers Not “Sheepish” About the Roundup
In a cheeky social media post, Eastbourne Police said: “The officers took these baaaaa-d sheep back home and made sure they were safe and secure.” No doubt the fluffy suspects were relieved not to end up in the clink!
No Rammed Custody Suites Here
Sussex News is pleased to report the sheep were safely returned without any transporting to the police station. After all, no one wants a rammed custody suite—especially one full of sheep!
