Police descended on Southsea following shooting

Officers from Hampshire Constablary are carrying out further house-to-house enquiries today, one month on from a firearms incident in Southsea. It took place at an address in Hudson Road at around 5.15am on Sunday 3 February. A 21-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged following treatment. As part of our investigation, four men from the London area were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They were released from custody but remain under investigation. Police will be in the area today carrying out house-to-house enquiries.
