Baby Snatch Attempt on Train Sparks Police Hunt
Police have circulated an image of a man who may hold the key to a terrifying baby abduction attempt on a train.
Shocking Grab on Worksop Train
The drama unfolded on the evening of Saturday, August 17, around 7:30pm. A mother was getting ready to leave the train at Worksop station, carrying her baby, when a stranger suddenly lunged, snatching the infant from her arms and sprinting down the carriage.
Thankfully, a quick-thinking relative sprang into action and wrestled the baby back from the suspect, who fled the train at Barnsley station.
Police Appeal for Public Help
British Transport Police (BTP) have released a photo of the man they believe holds vital information about the incident. They are urging anyone who recognises him to get in touch urgently.
