Woman Dies After Horror Lorry Crash on New Forest’s A31
Police have named the woman killed in a shocking smash between a lorry and pedestrian on the A31 last week.

The victim, 72-year-old Susan McIvor from Bournemouth, Dorset, suffered fatal injuries after the collision with an articulated lorry on Thursday, May 19.
The crash happened just after 8am between Burley services and Bratley Arch. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but Susan sadly died despite their efforts.
Investigation Underway
Officers are probing the exact circumstances of the accident. They’ve launched Operation Monroe to get to the bottom of what happened.
