A frantic search kicked off in Sussex yesterday evening after 12-year-old boy Richard vanished from Shoreham.

Massive Search Effort Launched

Sussex Police scrambled a helicopter and deployed ground teams, joined by the Coastguard, Shoreham RNLI inshore lifeboat, and Sussex Search and Rescue. The huge operation focused on the Adur area, combing land and sea for any sign of the missing youngster.

Last Seen Leaving Home Late Monday

Police confirmed Richard was last spotted leaving his home at 7.30pm on Monday, January 16, before disappearing without a trace.

Good News: Richard Found Safe

Sussex Police released an update today, saying: “We are delighted to report 12-year-old Richard, who was missing from Shoreham, has been found safe.”

They added: “Thank you to everyone involved in the search for Richard.”
