Police Hunt Pervert Exposing Himself in Tunbridge Wells Woods

Kent Police are on the lookout after a man repeatedly exposed himself in Hargate Woods, Tunbridge Wells. Five separate reports have come in between late May and early July, sparking a full probe.

Multiple Incidents Spark Alarm

Detective Sergeant Richard Pringle of the Tunbridge Wells Community Safety Unit revealed the shocking details. “Between Saturday 26 May and Sunday 8 July, we received five reports of a man exposing himself in Hargate Woods near Broadwater Down,” he said. “The incidents happened during the morning and late afternoon.”

Suspect Description

  • White male, aged late 20s to 40s
  • Proportionate build
  • Short blond or brown hair
  • One victim noted tattoos on his arms

Related Exposures on Local Roads

DS Pringle also confirmed two more reports of similar incidents. “On Monday 9 July and Wednesday 11 July, at around 7pm, a man exposed himself on Gladstone Road and Rusthall Road,” he said. “This man is described as white, in his 20s, wearing a brown or blue top and jogging bottoms.”

Police Appeal for Information

Officers believe the incidents are linked and are working hard to catch the culprit. DS Pringle urged locals to stay alert: “Be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious behaviour immediately on 101, or 999 in an emergency.”
