Safety Risk: Faulty Sand Sealing Cap Could Trigger Danger
The recall arises because the sand sealing cap on these fuse-links may not properly seal. This flaw could cause sand leakage during use—especially in high-vibration environments—jeopardising the fuse’s ability to safely extinguish electrical faults.
This defect poses a clear hazard, failing to meet the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. Use of these fuses risks short circuit mishaps and potential injury.
What to Do If You Have One
The manufacturer has urged all users to immediately stop using affected fuse-links. If you own one of the recalled batches, contact Europa’s customer service to arrange a safe return.
