Authorities have issued a public warning following the theft of potentially hazardous rat poison from a van in Hemlington, Middlesbrough. Members of the public are urged to exercise caution and report any sightings of the stolen poison to the police.
The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, June 28 when the Solo Blox rat poison, along with other items including a drill, vermin traps, cash, and insecticide spray, were stolen from a van. The stolen rat poison was in labelled containers, prominently displaying a hazard pictogram.
The rat poison is described as being red in colour, possessing a sweet odour, and having a wax-like appearance. Given the potential dangers associated with its handling, authorities are advising individuals not to touch the poison if discovered, but instead to immediately contact the police.
