12-Year-Old Injured at Park Community School After Catching Leg on Screw

A 12-year-old pupil at Park Community School in Leigh Park was rushed to hospital after a nasty injury at school.

The boy reportedly caught his leg on a screw sticking out from a door stop on Middle Park Way, leaving him seriously hurt.

Family Take Pupil to Hospital for Stitches and X-Ray

His family immediately took him to QA Hospital in portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth, where he needed stitches and an X-ray to assess the damage.

School Launches Investigation but Keeps Quiet

The school has declined to comment on the incident but confirmed they have launched an investigation into how the injury happened.
