Several nearby fishing vessels also joined the hunt after responding to a Mayday Relay broadcast from HM Coastguard.
Search Continues as Hope Persists
“This is an extensive search that is still ongoing. We have a number of rescue assets and local vessels assisting in the search operation and the search conditions are favourable,” said Kaimes Beasley, Duty Controller for HM Coastguard.
The situation remains fluid and no further updates have been released yet. The rescue mission continues as crews comb the waters for the missing fisherman.
