Search Halted Tonight for Missing Light Aircraft Near Puffin Island, Anglesey

The hunt for a light aircraft carrying a lone pilot near Puffin Island, Anglesey, has been paused for the night. HM Coastguard was alerted at 12:47pm on Monday 25th November after the plane vanished from radar close to Puffin Island.

Flight from Caernarfon to Great Orme Ends in Mystery

The small aircraft was on a round trip from Caernarfon Airport to Great Orme in Llandudno. When radar contact was lost, a major search operation swung into action.
