Huge Fire Tears Through Gravesend Homes
A massive blaze erupted this afternoon in Gravesend, sparking a major emergency response. The fire broke out on Jubilee Crescent around 1:10pm, prompting nine fire engines to race to the scene.
Multiple Properties Devastated
The flames have engulfed several properties along the road, with early reports showing serious damage. Crowds gathered as homes were seen burning fiercely, but it’s still unclear if anyone has been injured or trapped inside.
Firefighters Battle Blaze With Full Force
Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews are tackling the fire with both main hose jets and high-pressure reels. Firefighters are working hard in breathing apparatus to control the inferno.
Several properties are being affected by a fire that is currently being attended to by Kent Fire and Rescue Service on Jubilee Crescent in Gravesend. Nine fire engines, a height vehicle, and the technical rescue team are currently on the scene,” a spokesperson said.
