Massive Delays on M25 After Serious Crash
A major motorcycle crash has brought traffic to a standstill at the Dartford Crossing today, October 30. The smash happened between Junction 1B for A296 Princes Road and Junction 2 for A2 (Darenth Interchange) on the clockwise carriageway.
Kent Police rushed to the scene around 2:23pm. A spokesperson warned drivers: “Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service are at the scene where both carriageways are currently closed. The air ambulance is also in attendance, and motorists should plan their journeys accordingly.”
Road Closures and Gridlock Stretch for Miles
No injuries have been confirmed yet, but the crash has sparked severe congestion. Traffic backs up north to Junction 30 (Lakeside/Tilbury) and south to Junction 3 (M20 Swanley interchange). By 4:11pm, northbound lanes reopened but southbound traffic remained halted.
National Highways warns delays will continue into the evening. They urge drivers to allow extra time or seek alternative routes.

Meanwhile, Essex Police are dealing with a separate crash on the M25 between Junction 25 (Waltham Cross) and Junction 26 (Waltham Abbey). The road remains closed as officers manage the scene, with no further details released yet.
