Blaze Tears Through Three-Storey Building
A fierce fire ripped through a three-storey building last night, gutting the roof and second floor, while leaving part of the first floor damaged. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Firefighters Battle Blaze for Hours
Fire crews battled the blaze for hours to bring the situation under control. The London Fire Brigade Control Office handled 21 emergency calls about the fire.
The alarm was raised at 7.47pm, with the fire finally contained by 10.00pm. Teams from Forest Hill, Bromley, Woolside, Lewisham, Beckenham, and Lee Green fire stations all rushed to the scene.
