Missing Man Last Seen in Chelmsford Co-op

Timothy Hatcher, 69, vanished without a trace on Sunday, 18 December. He was reported missing two days later. The last confirmed sighting was at around 2.40pm that day, inside the Co-op on Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford.

Specialist Officers Scour Meadgate Avenue and Hylands Park

Police have launched a full-scale search, focusing on Meadgate Avenue and nearby Hylands Park. Specialist officers have been combing these areas all day and will continue into the evening in hopes of finding Timothy.

Timothy was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, bright yellow high-visibility coat, and carrying a black shoulder bag.

Police Seek Help to Find Friend Linked to Case

Detectives are also hunting for a man believed to be a friend or acquaintance of Timothy. The pair were spotted together on 3 December buying trainers at JD Sports in High Chelmer.
