Teen Impaled on Iron Fence in Hyde Park Horror

A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after a shocking accident in Hyde Park on Saturday, April 22. The teen got impaled on a jagged iron fence near Bayswater Road while hanging out with friends.

Firefighters Saw Her Free Before Ambulance Rush

At 5.18pm, the London Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. Firefighters had to use a saw to carefully cut her free from the deadly spikes before paramedics whisked her off to a major trauma centre.

Witnesses Reveal Shocking Details

A couple arriving shortly after the incident said, “It was a freak accident… a lot of people have a few drinks and try to climb over those fences.” They added, “We feel terrible for the girl, but she seemed to be getting proper care.”

They recalled waiting 15 to 20 minutes before the ambulance finally took her away.

Girl Shows Strength Despite Injury

In a remarkable show of spirit, the injured teen flashed a peace sign to bystanders as she was carried into the ambulance, despite her harrowing ordeal.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed: “We were called at 5:18 pm to reports of an incident in Hyde Park near Bayswater Road.”
