Serious Crash on Isle of Wight: Police Seek Witnesses
Police are hunting for witnesses after a serious collision on the Isle of Wight on Thursday night (17 September).
Car Leaves Road, Driver Seriously Injured
Between 9pm and 9.15pm, a blue Citroen C1 veered off Briddlesford Road, near the Combley Road junction, between Downend and Wootton. The car ended up in a field.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Sandown, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital for treatment.
