Massive Delays on M4 After Morning Crash – 2.5 Miles of Tailbacks
Chaos erupted on the M4 just before 8:45am today as emergency teams rushed to the scene of a crash. Thames Valley Police, Fire, Ambulance Services, and National Highways Traffic Officers are currently dealing with the incident.
Gridlock Hits Both Directions
Drivers are facing roughly 2.5 miles of stop-start traffic on both approaches to the road closure points. If you’re on the M4 this morning, expect an extra 45 minutes added to your journey time.
Diversions In Place – Follow The Signs
Westbound motorists: Look out for the hollow square diversion symbol. Exit at Junction 11, take the 3rd exit onto the A33, then left onto the A4. Follow the A4 and rejoin the M4 at Junction 12.
Eastbound drivers: Follow the hollow circle diversion symbol and take the same route in reverse.
