White Van and Sewerage Lorry Collide on A272
Emergency crews rushed to the A272 near Cowfold at 8.55am on Tuesday, 22 September following a frightening collision. A white van and a sewerage lorry crashed, leaving the van driver seriously injured.
Man Air-Lifted with Serious Injuries
The 22-year-old van driver was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The lorry driver suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
Road Closures and Delays Expected
Authorities have slammed road closures in place at the scene. Motorists are warned to expect ongoing disruption this afternoon.
