Tragedy in Forest Hill: A two-year-old boy has died after falling from a height in a heartbreaking incident on Saturday, 18 May.
Emergency Drama on Wynell Road
Emergency services were scrambled to Wynell Road, SE23, at 12:17pm following reports of a seriously injured child. Paramedics and police arrived swiftly to find the toddler in a critical condition. Despite urgent treatment at the scene and a rushed trip to hospital, the little boy tragically passed away shortly after.
Death Treated as Unexpected, Family Supported
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the death is being treated as unexpected. A spokesperson said:
“We understand the considerable concern this incident will cause within the community. An investigation is ongoing to determine the full circumstances.”
Specially trained officers are providing support to the devastated family. Thankfully, so far no arrests have been made.
