Tragic End to Search for Missing 85-Year-Old Glenda Keal
Leicestershire Police have confirmed a heartbreaking update in the disappearance of Glenda Keal, 85, who vanished from Earl Shilton last week.
Body Found in Hinckley
Glenda was last seen on Sunday, 7 December, around 1:50pm, walking along Hawley Road near Westfield Road in Hinckley. On Thursday morning, 11 December, officers responded to a report shortly after 8:40am of a woman’s body discovered close to Brick Kiln Street in Hinckley.
While formal identification is still pending, police believe the body is Glenda’s.
Family Grieves as Police Carry On Investigation
Specialist officers are supporting Glenda’s devastated family, who have asked for privacy during this tragic time. Police have confirmed her death is not being treated as suspicious.
An official report will now be prepared for HM Coroner as the inquiry continues.
