Police Car Crashes into Fence During Emergency Call in Gravesend
Chaos erupted in Gravesend in the early hours of Friday when a police car responding to an emergency slammed into another vehicle near the Prince of Orange pub on Old Road East.
Car Wrecked on Fence Near Traffic Lights
The second car was left impaled on a fence close to the traffic lights, forcing a road closure as emergency crews cleared the scene.
Officers Injured but Released
“At 2.10am, a police car responding to an emergency call collided with another car in Old Road East, Gravesend,” a police spokesman confirmed.
Two officers suffered minor injuries and were rushed to hospital but have since been discharged.
