Tragic Blaze Claims Life in Tottenham Flat
A man has died after a fire tore through a flat on Willoughby Park Road, Tottenham.
Firefighters Rescue, But One Life Lost
Flames damaged the ground and first floors of the flat. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued a man from the first floor, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was rushed to hospital by ambulance crews.
Rapid Response and Investigation Underway
- The fire brigade was called at 5.36pm and had the blaze under control by 7.19pm.
- Three fire engines and about 20 firefighters from Tottenham, Walthamstow, and Stoke Newington responded.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
