Body Found on A27 Shuts Road in Brighton Late Friday

Fatal Discovery Halts Traffic

Parts of the A27 near Brighton were shut down after a body was discovered late on Friday night. The tragic incident happened around 11:30pm between Coldean Lane and the Woodingdean turnoff.

Emergency Services Respond

A diversion was quickly set up to redirect traffic away from the closed stretch. A 1 spokesman confirmed the grim news: “Emergency services responded to an incident at the A27 Falmer at about 11.30 pm on April 7. Sadly, the body of a 49-year-old man was found at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
