M3 Crash: Police Hunt Witnesses After VW Golf Crashes Into Central Reservation
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a single-vehicle smash on the M3 this morning. The southbound carriageway between junctions 5 and 6, near Basingstoke, was shut down when a Volkswagen Golf ended up stranded in the central reservation just after 7am.
The motorway reopened shortly after 10am, but officers want to hear from anyone who was driving through the area and spotted the car coming to a stop.
