Fire chaos at Swindon stadium! Wiltshire Police are hunting culprits after a deliberate blaze ripped through Webbswood Stadium, causing thousands in damage.
£8,000 Fire Hits Youth Football Club
The arson strike struck on August 28 around 2:30pm. A fire broke out between two metal containers at the Webbswood Stadium site. Flames quickly engulfed the containers, destroying kit and gear worth roughly £8,000 belonging to Swindon Supermarine Youth Football Club.
Four Teen Suspects Flee Scene
Witnesses spotted four slim teen lads sprinting from the scene towards the nearby woods at Sevenhampton. The suspects, aged early to mid-teens, wore grey tracksuit bottoms and navy or black hoodies.
Police Plea for Witnesses
Wiltshire Police are actively investigating this deliberate fire. They’re urging anyone with information to come forward urgently.
