Wiltshire Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Racist Assault in Amesbury

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was subjected to a racially motivated assault in Amesbury.

The incident occurred between 8.55pm and 9.05pm on July 9, 2024, on Boscombe Road, near the double mini roundabout off Solstice Park.

According to reports, a car slowed down near the cyclist, and items were thrown at them while racist insults were shouted from the vehicle.

Wiltshire Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
