Teen Gang Assaults 11-Year-Old on Rotherham Playing Fields

Police in Rotherham are hunting witnesses after a shocking attack on an 11-year-old boy at local playing fields.

Attack Details

The youngster was playing on the fields off Well Lane in Treeton between 3 and 4 p.m. on May 31 when a gang of 13 to 14-year-olds approached him. Horrifyingly, the teens poured alcohol over the boy before launching the assault.

Police Plea for Witnesses

Officers are urging anyone who was nearby or saw suspicious behaviour to come forward. If you have any information that can aid the investigation, please call 101 and quote reference 14/101118/22.
