Woman denies murder after stabbing death of Portsmouth mum

A 44-year-old woman has pleaded NOT GUILTY to the murder of Nadine Burden, 36, who was found fatally stabbed in her Portsmouth home.

Nadine Burden died at the scene on Toronto Road on 28 January. The shocking stabbing has left the community stunned.

Two suspects face trial

Victoria Arthur, 44, of Milton Road, Portsmouth, appeared at Winchester Crown Court and was remanded in custody. She is due to stand trial on 4 October.

Julie Palmer, 53, of 1 Place, also denies charges of assisting an offender and will face court alongside Arthur.
