A woman has died following a terrifying house fire in Romsey during the early hours of Monday.
Firefighters race to Jacobs Close inferno
Emergency crews were called just before 3am to a blazing house on Jacobs Close. Around 20 firefighters from three stations battled the flames.
Man rescued but condition unknown
Firefighters pulled a man from an upstairs bedroom. He was rushed to hospital, but his condition remains unclear.
Investigation launched as house stays sealed
Hampshire Fire and Hampshire Constabulary have launched a joint probe into the cause of the blaze. The property is still cordoned off as investigations continue.
