Woman Seriously Injured in Odiham Crash – Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are urgently appealing for information after a serious car crash in Odiham in the early hours of Saturday, February 25.
Car Leaves Road and Crashes into Trees
At around 12.45am, a blue Citroen C2 was travelling east on the A287 when it veered off the carriageway and smashed into a wooded area.
There were three people inside the car – two men and a woman. One passenger, a 31-year-old woman from Hook, suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated at a local hospital.
Police Seek Witnesses and Information
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand to get in touch,” said Sergeant Jon Bates. “The car might have been driven from the London Road area, so we particularly want to hear from anyone who spotted it there.”
Man Arrested on Suspicion of Dangerous Driving
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drink.
He has since been released on police bail until May 5 as investigations continue.
