White Vauxhall Corsa Rolls on Isle of Wight Road
A road remains blocked this afternoon after a young driver lost control of her white Vauxhall Corsa on the Isle of Wight. She took a corner at speed near Haven Street railway station, causing the car to roll onto its side on the Main Road through Haven Street.
Driver Walks Away Unscathed
Miraculously, the woman escaped without injury and managed to get herself out of the vehicle. Her car, however, didn’t fare so well – it’s likely a total write-off.
Police Manage Traffic Amid Crash Scene
Hampshire Constabulary arrived on the scene shortly before 6pm on Wednesday. They are directing traffic, but one lane remains blocked while investigations continue.
