British Woman, 33, Found Dead at Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio Resort Tragedy

A British tourist has tragically died at the famous Ibiza Rocks Hotel in the popular San Antonio resort area, emergency services have confirmed.

The 33-year-old woman was found unresponsive in her hotel room yesterday evening (April 30). Emergency responders, including local police and paramedics, rushed to the scene around 6.30pm, but despite spending around 40 minutes trying to resuscitate her, she was declared dead at the scene.

Police Investigation Underway

The Civil Guard is preparing a full report to submit to a local court which has launched an official investigation. However, early indications suggest there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Sources close to the investigation reported that the woman had a pre-existing heart condition and was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) — a small device placed under the collarbone to regulate abnormal heart rhythms.

Second Tragedy at Ibiza Rocks This Week

Shockingly, this is the second tragedy at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel within days. On Sunday, a 19-year-old Italian tourist of Turkish origin fell to her death from the fourth floor after reportedly attempting to access her room via a balcony, having misplaced her key card.

Police investigations into that incident are still ongoing.

Warnings Amid Summer Travel Season

The back-to-back tragedies come as thousands of British tourists prepare for summer getaways to Spain’s party islands. Authorities are urging holidaymakers to exercise caution and be mindful of health risks when travelling.
