Modern Family Hits E4 with Double-Bill Premieres
E4 is bringing the hit US sitcom Modern Family to UK screens starting Monday 24th October. Fans can catch double episodes every weeknight at 8pm, with all episodes available to stream on All 4.
Inside the Chaotic Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker Clan
The show follows three quirky California families tackling the madness of modern life. At the helm is Jay Pritchett (Ed O’Neil), juggling life with his younger wife Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and stepson Manny (Rico Rodriguez).
His daughter Claire (Julie Bowen) and husband Phil (Ty Burrell) wrestle with their three kids: mischievous Luke (Nolan Gould), brainy Alex (Ariel Winter), and popular eldest Haley (Sarah Hyland).
Meanwhile, Claire’s brother Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and his husband Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) raise their adopted daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons), creating even more hilarious family chaos.
Channel 4 Boss Calls It a “Universal Hit”
“Modern Family is that rare thing; a universally loved sitcom, alongside being acclaimed, decorated and having run for 11 seasons,” said Nick 1, Head of Acquisitions at Channel 4. “It perfectly aligns with E4’s personality. We are so excited to bring this absolute treat of a series to E4 and All 4 audiences for the first time.”
Don’t miss the launch on E4 from 24th October. Tune in for back-to-back laughs every weeknight, or catch up on All 4 anytime.
