Rev Your Engines for The Italian Job Charity Drive 2024!
Thrill-seekers and car lovers, get ready! Entries have officially opened for the electric Italian Job charity driving experience across Italy next year. This legendary motoring event speeds in from September 28th to October 7th, 2024, raising crucial funds for Buttle UK – the charity supporting children and young people in financial hardship and crisis across the UK.
Drive Classic Cars Through Stunning Italy
Whether you’re taking the wheel of a classic Mini or another vintage beauty featured in the iconic 1969 film – think Aston Martins, E-Types, or Lamborghini Miuras – The Italian Job welcomes all motoring buffs to join this epic adventure. The route races through Rome and Lazio, blending high-octane driving with Italy’s rich culture, mouth-watering food, and world-famous wines.
The journey kicks off with a fully escorted convoy through France, stopping overnight in Tours, Grenoble, and La Spezia. The official challenge begins at Janiculum Hill in Rome on October 1st, before heading to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, your base for six unforgettable days of motoring madness.
Explore Hidden Gems While Fueling a Great Cause
Each day follows a carefully planned Road Book leading participants through Lazio’s breathtaking landscapes. The route showcases local vineyards, ancient wine-making traditions, Roman castles, and off-the-beaten-track gems like Ciociaria. There are laid-back days to soak up Rome’s wonders and excursions to stunning spots like Rieti, Lake Bolsena, and Civita.
Drivers and co-drivers are encouraged to fundraise at least £1,500 for Buttle UK. The all-inclusive package costs £1,360 for two people sharing a room and covers return Calais crossings, hotel stays at the 4-star Crowne Plaza, meals, excursions, tastings, and more.
