Crews were seen wearing hoodies emblazoned with the slogan “Gladiator II,” adding to the buzz and excitement. Extras, dressed as Roman centurions, were spotted participating in what appeared to be intense battle scenes, adding an authentic touch to the historic landscape.

Paul Mescal, who stars in the sequel, was also seen in character, engaging in the reshoot of a significant battle scene. The sight of Mescal, known for his critically acclaimed performance in ‘Normal People,’ in full Roman gear certainly drew the attention of locals and passersby.

The production team chose Devil’s Dyke, known for its stunning views and dramatic landscape, as a fitting backdrop for the epic scenes that ‘Gladiator II’ promises to deliver. The reshoots aim to perfect crucial scenes and ensure the film meets the high expectations set by its predecessor.
