Garden Statues Stolen in Winchester – Police Hunt Thieves
Police are on the case after a string of valuable statues vanished from a garden in Winchester’s Hursley area. The bizarre haul included rare bronze and stainless steel sculptures that have left the community baffled.
What Was Stolen?
- Two antique bronze Indian Elephant statues
- One bronze Zebra statue
- Two stainless steel Dragonflies
- One stainless steel Bee
- Bronze sculpture of a fox carrying a pheasant
- One antique Indian Astrolabe
These pieces disappeared between 6.30pm and 9pm on 25 September. Police are urging anyone who’s seen these statues for sale or knows anything about their whereabouts to come forward immediately.
