Three, the UK’s second largest mobile carrier, has been suffering from a major service outage for several hours — but is yet to explain what the problem is.
Angry customers roaming as far afield as Canterbury and many Parts of the South have been prevented from making calls and dozens of customers venting their frustration on Social media. It seem that there is an issue with the Voice network on Three and accessing and making call along with picking up voice mail The fault is effecting hundred of customers. Issues started just before 11pm on Wednesday evening.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the network acknowledged the issue and apologised to users:
We’re aware that some Three customers are experiencing issues affecting their voice and data roaming services. We apologise to any customers affected.We recommend that customers try restarting their device or turning flight mode on and off as that has restored service for a number of customers. We are working on the issues.
