Man Dies After Early Morning Assault in Portglenone
Aaron Law, a beloved father and local man, has tragically died following a violent attack in Portglenone’s Main Street in the early hours of Sunday, 30th October.
Unconscious and Injured Found on Footpath
Detective Inspector Michael Hawthorne revealed: “At around 1.10am, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service reported a man lying unconscious on the footpath with a serious head injury. He was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away.”
Aaron, who leaves behind two young children and a grieving family, was well-known in the community.
Police Arrest and Ongoing Investigation
A 41-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody as inquiries continue. Detective Inspector Hawthorne urged anyone who was near Main Street or nearby premises around the time of the attack to come forward.
