Tragic Death of Salisbury Cyclist After Van Hits and Runs on A338

A 70-year-old cyclist from Salisbury has tragically died nearly three weeks after a hit-and-run collision on the A338 at Fordingbridge. The victim suffered severe head injuries and passed away on May 18 after being hospitalised.

Van Caught on CCTV – Police Want Your Help

The incident happened at 9.20am on April 28 on Salisbury Road. CCTV footage shows a white Ford Transit flatbed van, registration BU53 FVM, believed to be the vehicle involved. The van failed to stop after the collision, leaving the cyclist seriously injured.

Police Ask Witnesses to Come Forward

Road policing officers have been tirelessly investigating and are desperate for information to track down the driver of the van. If you saw anything or have details about the incident, contact police on 101 quoting Operation Addition (44160159994).
