Cyclist left with serious facial injuries following collision in Portsmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was in collision with a parked car leaving him with serious injuries to his face. The 50-year-old cyclist was travelling along Northern Parade, in Portsmouth, on October 14, when he was passed by a Peugeot 206. It was at this point that the cyclist was in collision with a parked car, leaving him with extensive injuries to his face. Officers would like to speak to the driver of the car, as they may have information which may assist with the investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision. The collision happened sometime between 10.20pm and 11pm, close to the Oakwood Road junction. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting 44160389169, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
