Man left with Head Injury after Southsea Attack

Police are investigating an assault, that happened on the junction of Frensham Road and Heyshott Road, Southsea, at around 4.15am on Sunday (November 27) A 20-year-old man was found lying on the ground, suffering from a head injury. He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged. A 27-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He has been bailed until Jan 19, 2017. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire police on 101.
