Family of Drug Dealer Shot in Waterlooville Appeal for people to give Police information to find missing weapon The family of 34 year-old Jamie Sibley who was seriously injured in a firearms incident in Crookhorn last week are urging people to come forward with new information. Jamie remains in hospital in a stable condition following the attempted murder which happened around 12.50am on Monday, February 13, on Athena Avenue. Specialist officers assisted by the Neighbourhood Policing Team are continuing to carry out enquiries in the area and are keeping the local community updated. Detectives are still trying to locate the weapon used which remains a high priority for the investigation. Now a week on Jamie Sibley’s family has released the following statement to urge anyone with information to come forward: ‘Jamie is a very much loved member of our family, he has had his problems which many people have but really he’s such an easy-going person. “We as a family appreciate all the well wishes and comments, but would also like respect for our privacy while we continue to deal with Jamie’s condition and wellbeing. “All we can push across is that if anybody has any information that could help this investigation no matter how small or irrelevant you think it is, please inform the police. We need to get justice for Jamie”.
