Several Injured in Horror Smash on Reigate Hill

A nasty collision on Reigate Hill this morning has left multiple people hurt. The smash, involving four cars including a vintage 1902 Benz, a silver Ford C-Max, a Mercedes GLE, and a Fiat Fourini, happened at around 11.35am on 5 November.

Vintage Benz Caught up in Crash During Brighton Run

The 1902 Benz was taking part in the famous 1 to Brighton Veteran Car Run when the crash occurred. Two passengers in the Benz suffered serious injuries. One was airlifted to hospital, while the other was taken by road ambulance.

Others Treated for Minor Injuries

  • Two more people from the Benz received minor injuries and were hospitalised.
  • Two occupants of the Ford C-Max were also treated for minor injuries.

Road Still Closed as Emergency Crews Work

Reigate Hill remains closed both ways while emergency services, including multiple ambulance crews, deal with the aftermath.

Police are urging anyone who saw what happened or has information to call 101 and quote incident number P17279402.
