Police Probe After Portsmouth School Girls Flashed at by balaclava Covered Man

Police have launched a probe following two reports of indecent exposure in the Baffins area which have occurred over the past week. At around 3.20pm on Friday, April 20, a group of three school girls walked past a man at the Great Salterns Recreation Ground who was indecently exposing himself. The girls ran out of the park. On Thursday, April 26, a group of children were walking past Baffins Pond at around 6pm when they saw a man exposing himself. He then ran off towards Hayling Avenue. Officers carried out an area search but the man was not located. In both incidents, the man was wearing a balaclava covering his face. The man did not speak to the children, or approach them. Anyone with information about the incidents should call 101 quoting 44180154294. We understand that these incidents can be alarming for parents and children. Please ensure that your children are aware not to talk to strangers and that they walk home with friends or a trusted adult.
