Two vehicle collision on Coppins Bridge in Newport
Firefighters have been called to deal with a two vehicle collision on a major roundabout in the Newport this lunchtime. One crew from Newport were mobilised the short distance from Newport fire station just after 12.05pm on Wednesday to Coppins Bridge roundabout following the rear end crash. The. Crews have carried out scene safety and made the vehicle safe after liquid spilled from the front of the vehicle. Long delays are being reported as drivers slow to look at the incident. Southern Vectis are also reporting some services within the timetable have been effected. Services experiencing delays on routes 2,3,5,8,9 of between 5 -20 mins Drivers are getting through the traffic as best they can. Those involved are understood to have escaped without injury
