Motorcyclist killed in Fatal Kent Crash is named as Ellis Overy

A motorcyclist in his 20s killed when his motorcycle hit a stationary car on the A26 Tonbridge Road at Wateringbury near Maidstone around 12:39am this morning has been named as Ellis Overy from Tonbridge. Police are seeking witnesses to the crash. Officers investigating a fatal collision are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Kent Police was called at 12.39am on Sunday 10 June to reports of a collision involving a black Honda motorcycle and a stationary blue Skoda Fabia on the A26 Tonbridge Road, Wateringbury. Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man, aged in his 20’s, was declared dead at the scene. Anyone who saw the collision or the motorcycle prior to the collision, is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit. Officers are particularly interested to speak to the driver of a white estate car, possibly an Audi or Skoda, travelling on Tonbridge Road around the time of the collision as they may have information which can assist the investigation.
