Lorry Driver Caught Snorting Cocaine Behind Wheel – Twice!
Shock footage has emerged showing a transporter driver getting busted by North Yorkshire cops after being spotted snorting cocaine while driving. The reckless driver was caught not once but twice in under a week!
High-Speed Pursuit After 1,000 Mile Drug-Fuelled Drive
The dramatic arrest was filmed by Traffic Cops crew, following North Yorkshire Police as they tackled dangerous drivers. Officers received a tip-off that the unnamed driver had snorted “white powder” before hitting the road in his three-tonne lorry.
Traffic officers Rich Ellis and Rich Clarke chased the vehicle after it was seen swerving and speeding unpredictably. The driver ignored initial police signals to stop, forcing a pursuit. When finally pulled over, it was revealed he’d driven a staggering 1,000 miles that day – all while high.
Cocaine Confession and Road Rage
The driver initially denied taking drugs that day, exclaiming, “Give up! Are you having a p***?” but later admitted to cocaine use within the last 20 days. Days later, near Leeds, he was spotted snorting cocaine again with a £5 note before heading off in his lorry.
“It’s bad enough snorting cocaine while driving any vehicle, but doing it in a van or large lorry is absolutely insane,” said one officer, TC Matt Harvey. “The consequences could be catastrophic.”
Banned and Fined – Justice Served
After the second arrest, the driver was charged with drug driving and slapped with a year-long driving ban. He was also hit with over £200 in fines and costs. Police warn how dangerous it is when drug drivers take control of large vehicles, putting everyone on the roads at risk.
