Waste fire spreads to shed and outbuilding in Sittingbourne

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called reports of a shed alight in School Lane, Iwade near Sittingbourne. A large pile of rubbish alight had spread to a nearby shed and an outbuilding. Four fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze. There were no reported injuries and the cause is not known at this stage.
